Our New 2021 CHEQUERED FLAG is the second design to join our BRG Heritage Collection. The CHEQUERED FLAG design inspiration is a joint celebration with our National Racing Colours – British Racing Green – allowing us the pleasure to continue celebrating the victories of our famous green cars since 1902. NAPIER won the 1902 Gordon Bennett Cup – Paris to Vienna race. The winning driver, Selwyn Francis Edge, Director of the Napier Car Company, shared Great Britain’s first international race triumph and was the first to wear the green – British Racing Green. Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, and Lotus, to name just a few, have dominated Formula 1, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and sportscar races globally – winning multiple World Championship titles, clothed in British Racing Green, representing British motor racing and British automotive manufacturers. This year, we look forward to seeing Aston Martin Formula One Team back on the grid.

The beauty of our Cotton Canvas material is that it’s very durable. Our unique angled Chequered Flag is sealed with a protective coating, making it waterproof. The feel and look of the material is designed to resemble the texture of natural grain leather.

Leather
We pride ourselves in crafting our leather goods using the same British Racing Green highest quality ‘Bridge of Weir’ Scottish leather that Aston Martin, Bentley & McLaren choose as their luxury automotive hide.

Lining
Finished in a very sporty racing red Italian man-made suede durable material – very similar to Alcantara but a lighter weight. Optional: Striking bespoke unique printed linings are a recognisable and in-demand feature of every Jordan Bespoke holdall.
